Beyonce's Lemonade allows Tidal streaming to take flight

Thanks to Beyonce's release of her latest album, Lemonade, which was released on Tidal this past Saturday, Tidal has seen an increase in streaming. According to enca entertainment news, the streaming service led by Jay-Z has become the number one used streaming sevice according to a tracking service, App Annie.

Beyonce isn't the only attraction that has saved Tidal from its troubles. Other singers who released their albums exclusively on the streaming service, are Rihanna and Kanye. Tidal reports that it has more than 3 million sibscribers and constantly attempts to inhibit the growth of streaming services such as Spotify who offer subscribers wide easy access to music rather than exclusivity. Will this be Tidals saving grace or downfall? We don't know, but we do know that Drake is expected to release his much anticipated album "View from the 6" exclusively to Apple music. If it works for Apple music it could work for Tidal over the long run.
