The organisation has won the African Animal Rights Organisation of the Year Award, and the Most Empowering Animal Rights Organisation South Africa award at this year's MEA Markets Magazine annual African Excellence Awards.

Now in its sixth year, the African Excellence Awards are an “essential guide to the key sectors driving growth throughout the continent, rewarding those outstanding companies and individuals whose entrepreneurship has strengthened Africa’s position as the next global economic powerhouse.”

Beauty without Cruelty said they were “delighted’  to have been acknowledged writing on social media: “We are most grateful for the recognition of our efforts on behalf of animals, through the promotion of kinder options for grooming, cleaning, clothing, food and entertainment, and our work with local and national government”.

Beauty Without Cruelty is an animal rights organization with a primary objective to educate and inform the public about the exploitation, abuse, and suffering of animals and to offer humane, non-animal alternatives to replace cruel and harmful lifestyle choices.

They are on a constant quest to inform the government about the use of modern, reliable, and relevant tools for medical and other research that is better for humans while preventing the suffering of millions of animals annually.
