Singer, songwriter Ariana Grande is being sued for allegedly posting a picture of herself that was taken by a photographer.
According to Sky News, she is being accused of copyright infringement by Mr Robert Barbera.
The picture, which has subsequently been taken down, showed the singer in an oversized jumper and thigh high boots carrying a bag with the word Sweetner written across it in bold letters – this is the name of her fourth studio album.
Ariana is said to have uploaded the pictures to her Instagram account on the 17th August last year, the day her album was released.
Mr Barbera is seeking damages of up to R360 000 for each picture used in her post.
