At a formal inquiry into the role of influencers, the British Love Island star has laid bare details of shocking online abuse which includes receiving a death threat from a 13-year-old.

Hart, who appeared on Love Island in 2019, read out some typical examples of messages of abuse she has received to the committee saying that she had stopped reporting the abusive comments to social media companies as she did not believe they would take action.
The abuse included being trolled by everyone she says from nurses to parents. She also said that after seeing her platform go from a few thousand to well over a million she had become "a bit desensitized" to messages telling her she is "ugly" and "awful."
