When it comes to deciding what to wear to a fashion event, Amal Clooney is clearly spoilt for choice. The lawyer, 40, posed at this month’s Met Gala in New York in a gown by UK designer Richard Quinn. It featured a floral train at least 4ft long.
But by the time she attended an after-party with husband George, Mrs Clooney had changed into a glittering red Tom Ford dress. She had reportedly upset Ford’s team by agreeing to wear his design to the gala but then opting for Quinn instead.
American Vogue editor Anna Wintour told a TV show Mrs Clooney changed out of the Quinn dress as ‘she was concerned it might rip’.
