AI generated music is beginning to flood social media platforms with convincingly produced songs that appear to feature the voices of some of music’s most well-known stars – would you be able to tell the difference?
The problem is that most people would not given the quality of the songs being produced.
With no clear guidelines or rules and regulations in place, more and more of these songs are popping up online – some of them even appear to be unreleased tracks of deceased stars finding their way to the internet.
Twitter user AI Solopreneuer has released many of these AI-generated tracks, his Twitter handle stating that he "helps solopreneurs capitalize on the AI revolution and 10x their productivity. Follow for cutting-edge hacks, prompts, and workflows".
Take a listen to this fake Michael Jackson singing I Feel It Coming by The Weeknd.
AI-generated songs are getting scary good.

The music industry is NOT prepared for this.

Heart on a Sleeve, a track featuring AI-generated replicas of Drake and The Weeknd, racked up millions of hits on TikTok and other platforms. This could pose a problem, costing the musicians in earnings as there is currently no system in place to copyright the sound of someone's voice.
Artificial Intelligence is set to change not only the face of the music industry but the world as we know it.
According to Techcrunch, ‘AI, also called machine learning, is a kind of software system based on neural networks, a technique that was actually pioneered decades ago but very recently has blossomed thanks to powerful new computing resources. AI has enabled effective voice and image recognition, as well as the ability to generate synthetic imagery and speech. And researchers are hard at work making it possible for an AI to browse the web, book tickets, tweak recipes, and more'.
