Robert De Niro and Grace Hightower have decided to separate after 21 years of marriage.
The two have a 20-year-old son, Elliot and a 6-year-old daughter Helen Grace.
Robert and Grace married in 1997 after being together for almost 10 years.
In 1999 Robert filed for divorce but never went through with it.
The couple then renewed their vows in 2004. Guests at the wedding included the likes of Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep, Ben Stiller, and Tom Brokaw, to name a few.
This was not Robert's first marriage.
Before Grace he was married to Diahnne Abbot. Together they had Drena, 47, Raphael, 42 and with ex-girlfriend, Julian Aaron 23-year-old twin sons Julian and Aaron.
