The much anticipated final movie in phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe opens at cinemas across the globe today Friday, November 11, and according to the reviews, you’ll want to take some tissues along with you to the theatre.
The movie is said to honor the life and legacy of the late Chadwick Boseman, the film series' lead star, who passed away in August 2020 after a four-year battle with cancer.
The storyline is as follows: Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M'Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T'Challa's death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with Nakia and Everett Ross to forge a new path for their beloved kingdom.
Included in the cast are Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, and Danny Sapani , who are all reprising their roles in the sequel as Shuri, Nakia, M'Baku, Okoye, Ramonda, and M'Kathu, respectively.
