The corruption trial of jailed former president Jacob Zuma resumes on Monday, despite the deadly violence that swept the nation following his imprisonment for contempt of court.
Zuma faces 16 charges of fraud, graft, and racketeering linked to the controversial arms deal.
He also brought an application for the recusal of state prosecutor, advocate Billy Downer, the merits of which will be fully ventilated on Monday.
During his last court appearance on 26 May, NPA spokesperson, Sipho Ngwema, told the media that they had a good case against Zuma.
