President Jacob Zuma says the ANC Youth League must accept that it needs to appoint a new president and move on.
Zuma was speaking at a business breakfast in Port Elizabeth on Friday ahead of the official launch of the Port of Ngqura.
He said once the process of disciplinary procedures have been concluded there wouldn't be anything else to do.
Thereafter -- the youth league will have to move forward.
Zuma dismissed suggestions that the youth league had lost confidence in the ruling party.
Malema is currently appealing the national disciplinary committee's decision to expell him from the ANC for sowing division in the party and bringing it into disrepute.
