DURBAN, July 23 (ANA) – A woman was lucky to escape with moderate injuries when her car plunged about 30 metres down an embankment in San Raphael Avenue, Warner Beach in Amanzimtoti on Saturday morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the woman sitting on the side of the road, ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.
It was believed that bystanders had brought her up to the roadside. Upon assessment by paramedics, it was found that she sustained moderate injuries. She was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The cause of the accident was unknown, Bodasing said.
