Kwazulu Natal police are looking for a 30-year-old man who can assist them in a murder investigation which took place in Amanzimtoti in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police Spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane says the suspect was at home with his 33 year old wife when an argument broke out.
The suspect then allegedly threw two hand grenades towards her after which one exploded.
She was taken to a local hospital where she died of her injuries.
A case of murder was opened at the Amanzimtoti police station for further investigation. The SA Police Service explosives unit found both hand grenades in the house, Zwane said.
