A woman has been found hanged from a tree about a kilometer from the shack where her four children were found dead in Skeerpoort near the Hartebeespoort Dam north-west of Johannesburg.
The bodies of the children aged three-months, two, seven, and 10 years were found by their father on Sunday.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone, says the body of their mother was found shortly afterwards.
