Western Cape police said a 35-year-old woman was arrested in connection with a murder at the Wynberg regional court earlier this month.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Novela Potelwa, said the suspect was charged with the murder of a 50-year-old man who was shot dead on 8 April at the court.
She said the arrest was made by members of the province’s Serious Violent Crime Detectives team who had been hard at work since the shooting.
Potelwa said the woman is due to appear in court on Monday.
Western Cape SAPS management welcomed the breakthrough.
