A woman and a 10-year-old boy have been killed when a bakkie crashed into their car in Johannesburg on Monday morning.
ER-24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson says they were sitting in the back of the car.
She says its believed the woman driving the hatchback towards Johannesburg had slowed in order to avoid a collision with a stationary vehicle in one of the middle lanes.
A bakkie with two occupants then crashed into her from behind.
