ANC president Jacob Zuma takes his party's election campaing to the Western Cape on Monday.
His programme takes him to the Good Hope Centre where religious leaders will hold a mass prayer service.
According to an ANC statement, religious leaders will pray for Zuma, the country and a stable election period.
Zuma will address the gathering afterwards.
Meanwhile, Zuma said South Africans must vote peacefully on May 7th.
Speaking at a Freedom Day rally on Sunday, he called on South Africans to go out in their numbers to vote, saying the precious right to vote was gained through relentless struggles and sacrifices.
He said the country had made significant strides in alleviating poverty, reducing crime and fostering racial unity, since the dawn of democracy in 1994.
