Veteran broadcaster Derek Watts dies

Veteran broadcaster, 74-year-old Derek Watts, has passed away.

In July, the iconic presenter announced his retirement from the long-running investigative show, Carte Blanche due to his deteriorating health.

Watts was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2022 which spread to his lungs.

He was part of the Carte Blanche team for 36 years.

According to Netwerk 24, the news was confirmed by Watts' daughter Kirsty.
