A 59-year-old man from Jan Kempdorp in the Northern Cape has been arrested and his back-yard dagga plantation destroyed by police.
The arrest was made on Friday the SAPS K9 unit in the town.
The dagga plantation is estimated to be worth R30,000," said spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Dimakatso Mooi.
He said the suspect is expected to appear before the Jan Kempdorp Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of dealing in dagga.
