Stellenbosch University is reeling following the murder of one of its students in a weekend hijacking.
The 21-year-old Hannah Cornelius and a friend were hijacked on Friday night in the Stellenbosch CBD.
Her body was found in Knorhoek Road in the Kraaifontein area.
Western Cape police report that three men in their 30s have been arrested for being in possession of the hijacked vehicle.
Police say a male victim who was with the deceased was forced out of the vehicle, he was found by Kraaifontein SAPS members with head injuries and transported to a hospital for treatment.
