Two men were killed and two others were injured when a train hit their car in Hotazel in the Northern Cape on Saturday evening.
ER24 spokesperson, Vanessa Jackson says one man died at the scene, while the remaining three occupants of the vehicle were rushed to a nearby site clinic for further treatment.
She says a second man died as a result of his injuries, despite all efforts by paramedics and the clinic staff.
The other two were transported to hospitals in Kathu.
