Two killed in Free State accident

Two women have been killed in an accident between a car and a truck on the N1 outside Koppies in the Free State.

Netcare 911's Jeffrey Wicks says the accident happened on saturday evening, when the car slammed into the back of the truck.

He says both vehicles had been moving in the same direction.

Wicks says the two women were killed on impact, while a third was transported to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.
