 Two children were killed and 11 others injured when their bakkie crashed into a tractor on Brede River Road in Worcester on Friday morning, Western Cape police said.

The Isuzu bakkie rolled a few times after the collision. A nine-year-old and 14-year-old were declared dead at the scene, spokesman Warrant Officer November Filander said.

The children were on their way to school. The drivers of the bakkie and the tractor, as well as an adult passenger, were among the injured. (Sapa)
