Gauteng police have arrested two suspects in connection with the death of five-year-old Ditebogo Phalane Jnr, who was killed in a hijacking in Soshanguve.
Police announced the arrest on Thursday, saying the vehicle used during the hijacking was also seized.
"A car jamming device, a firearm and a stolen vehicle were found in their possession," according to a brief SAPS post on X.
The little boy was killed when suspects hijacked his father's vehicle outside their home in Soshanguve block UU.
According to reports police are still searching for a third suspect.
Little Ditebogo will be laid to rest on Friday.
