A cyber war of words has broken out between celebrity puppet Chester Missing and a right-wing group that has the old South African flag displayed on its Twitter feed.
The group has blocked booked tickets at Computicket for Missing's Port Elizabeth show on Saturday night, sparking a flurry of tweets.
Supporters of the group are urging each other to continue to make block bookings which effectively slows down online ticket sales.
Conrad Koch, the artist behind the character Chester Missing, says genuine concert-goers on the weekend will be in safe hands with extra security laid on for the show.
"If you go look at the pictures on those accounts, it is just unbelievable hate. I don't want to give a particular account attention, because then you up the trolling significantly. It does need to be noted that they are being very threatening. We are getting security for the PE show" he said
Afrikaans entertainer Steve Hofmeyer recently lost a court case against Conrad Koch and Chester Missing after he sought protection from their criticism of his comments regarding the origins of apartheid.
Meanwhile Chester Missing told AlgoaFM news he was not particularly concerned at right wing 'interest' in his show at the Boardwalk's Amphitheatre as they were not going to come anyway....
