Twin brothers killed on donkey cart in Northern Cape

Two six-year-old twin brothers were killed last night after their donkey cart was hit by a bus about 60 kilometers from Kimberley.

A spokesperson for Netcare 911 Chris Botha says the family pulled into the breakdown lane to a secure a donkey when a bus traveling on the N12 collided with the cart.

Botha says the impact was so severe that both boys died instantly and were found a hundred meters apart from each other.

Police are now investigating the cause of the crash.
