The waiting is nearly over for the Matric class of 2019.
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga will announce the results of the 2019 National Senior Certificate next Tuesday 7 January in Midrand, Johannesburg.
A total of 790 405 candidates sat for 147 question papers in 7 416 examination centres nationwide.
A further 212 learners wrote at correctional facilities.
The announcement will be preceded by a meet-and-greet breakfast of the Minister and Deputy Minister with the 2019 top-achieving learners and their parents.
The Minister will announce the 2019 NSC Results at 4pm next Tuesday.
