Two people were killed on Sunday night following a collision between two trucks, a bakkie and a light motor vehicle on the N3 in Heidelberg.
According to ER24 who responded to the scene, a woman in the car and a man in the bakkie was declared dead on the scene.
One truck driver was treated for injuries but the other was nowhere to be found on the scene.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide and are searching for the missing truck driver.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released.
