JOHANNESBURG, December 11 (ANA) – A little boy believed to be four years old has died after falling out of a window in a building in Johannesburg on Sunday, paramedics said.
“According to information received, the boy fell out of a window from the third storey of a building in Fleurhof,” ER24 spokeswoman Chitra Bodasing-Harduth said.
Fire and rescue and ER24 paramedics attended to the child. Upon assessment by paramedics it was found that the boy sustained multiple injuries and was in a critical condition.
“He was transported to hospital. While at hospital, the boy’s condition worsened and he had to be resuscitated. Despite all efforts to save him the boy sadly died. The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown,” Bodasing-Harduth said.
