Cape Town detectives are investigating a triple murder that took place outside a business in the Mfuleni township on Thursday.
Spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa says according to their report, at noon on Thursday, two gunmen who had their mandatory masks on, fired shots outside a tyre shop in Tokwana street in Extension 6.
She says the suspects opened fire and shot four people.
Brigadier Potelwa says two died on the scene, one died in hospital, whilst a fourth is recovering in hospital.
The victims were between the ages of 23 and 27.
The suspects fled on foot and the motive is unknown at this stage.
Police are investigating three cases of murder and one of attempted murder
No arrests have been made.
