Three killed in Western Cape accident

Three people were killed and three others seriously injured in a three car pile-up on the N2 near Grabow in the Western Cape on Sunday morning.

ER24's Pieter Rossouw says two vehicles allegedly collided and then a secondary collision with the third vehicle followed.

He says when paramedics arrived at the scene they found that three people had succumbed to their injuries.

Rossouw says one critically injured person was rushed to Helderberg Hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the accident is unknown, and police are investigating.
