Three people have been killed and a child was critically injured by a hippopotamus near Beit Bridge in Musina.
ER-24 says authorities allegedly found the injured child in the surrounding area on Thursday morning and was crying for help.
Spokesperson, Pieter Rossouw, says authorities then called for medical assistance.
"When paramedics arrived on scene they found that three adult males had sustained fatal injuries. The critically injured child was transported to a hospital in Musina for treatment" he said.
