Western Cape police said three suspects aged between 28 and 38 are expected to make their first court appearance for the deaths of six people in Hout Bay last month.
Provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Andre’ Traut, said that the suspects were arrested by the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit on charges of murder that occurred in the Imizamo Yetho informal settlement on 27 March.
“Investigation into the ruthless attack on the victims originally led to the arrest of four suspects last week who were found in possession of seven rounds of ammunition.
“While in custody, detectives pursued further information which resulted in three being charged for the murders,” Traut added.
He said the possession of ammunition case is expected to be heard in court on Monday.
