The Hawks have arrested three men in Springs for human trafficking.
Police spokesperson, Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu, said the arrests were made on Friday following reports of “suspicious activity” at a house in the town.
“It is alleged that the accused lured unsuspecting young girls with offers of employment and instead forced them into a life of drugs and prostitution,” he said.
Mulamu said the three are due to appear in court on Monday while the investigation into the syndicate is continuing.
