George police have arrested a third suspect for the brutal murder of a 25-year-old woman whose body was found at Herold's Bay last month.
Police said a woman was arrested on Friday night in connection with the murder of Hlompo Mohapi.
This followed the earlier arrest of 28-year-old Phumlani Qusheka in Knysna as well as a 30-year-old pastor from Thembalethu, Melisizwe Monqowho, whom police suspect may have also been involved in Mohapi’s death.
A vehicle, which police linked to the murder, was also confiscated for forensic testing.
The woman is due to make her first court appearance on Monday.
