South Africa's deputy minister of Trade and Industry, Elizabeth Thabethe, will lead a business delegation to Zimbabwe at the end of March.
The department says the delegation of about 45 South African business people from the infrastructure, manufacturing and agriculture sectors, are going on an Investment and Trade Initiative tour to Harare and Bulawayo.
The ITI tour forms part of the department's export and investment promotion strategy that focuses on targeted high growth markets.
Thabethe says the South African government is committed to the development and recovery of Zimbabwe, and they are confident that the trip will go a long way in enhancing economic co-operation.
She says trade between the two countries stood at R20 billion in 2011.
