At least 10 people arrested in connection with a cash-in-transit heist in Mahikeng are due to appear in the Molopo Magistrate's Court in Mmabatho on Monday.
The suspects aged between 29 and 42 were allegedly involved in a cash-in-transit robbery on the 30th of September.
Hawks Spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said an intense manhunt was launched involving the Hawks' cash in transit team, crime intelligence and the Mmabatho flying squad.
The suspects allegedly bombed an armoured vehicle, disarmed the security guards of three firearms and fled the scene with a substantial amount of money.
Three security guards are among the arrested suspects.
The homes of the suspects were searched and some of the alleged stolen money was seized as well as two firearms and ammunition.
