Talks between unions and Lonmin management are due to get underway in Marikana on Monday.
The National Union of Mineworkers said the talks will centre on normalising the situation at the mine following the shooting of 34 miners two weeks ago during clashes with police.
NUM spokesperson, Lesiba Seshoka, says there were reports of some trouble at Lonmin's eastern platinum shaft this morning where some miners who had not returned to work were threatened.
Meanwhile, dozens of miners who were arrested following the shooting incident are due to appear in court on Monday.
