A fifth suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a North West farmer Nikolaas Johannes Steenkamp.
The 59-year-old Steenkamp's body was discovered by employees on his farm Maroelasfontein on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says Steenkamp's body was found a day after his disappearance, tied up with cables.
He says after the murder the suspects proceeded to steal the farmer's drop safe that contained several items of jewellery and a laptop.
Ledwaba says four of the farmer's employees were arrested while a fifth suspect, a foreign national, was arrested in his rented room at a location at Holfontein in the North West Province.
The four men and one woman are expected to appear in court soon.
