Limpopo police said two suspected cattle thieves were arrested after the body of a 62-year-old cattle owner from Xikundu Village was found on Monday.
He disappeared on 27 February after going to check on his animals.
Police said angry community members searched for him, torching the six homes of people they suspected to be behind the cattle theft.
Lieutenant-Colonel Stephen Thakeng said the two suspects were arrested on 10 March and they led police to the spot where the body of the “farmer” was found.
He said the two will appear in court on Tuesday on charges of murder and stock theft.
