Police in Lephalale has launched a massive manhunt for a 27-year-old murder suspect who failed to appear in court.
The 27-year-old Tshepo Justice Rasodi was allegedly involved in the murder of a farmer three years ago.
Police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says Rasodi was out on bail of R1 000 and was due to appear in court on the 29th of January, however, failed to do so.
A warrant of arrest has since been issued.
It is alleged that Rasodi and his three co-accused attacked the 57-year-old Petersen Pieter Hendrick on his farm outside Lephalale before stealing firearms and other valuables.
Ngoepe says the men then fled in the victim's vehicle.
Hendrick, who was severely injured during the attack was certified dead on arrival at the hospital.
All four suspects were arrested but Rasodi skipped bail and is now on the run.
