Stellenbosch pension pay-point robbed

CAPE TOWN, May  (ANA) - Police are searching for four armed men who robbed a social grant payout point at the Eikestad Mall in Stellenbosch on Tuesday.

"An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. An armed robbery case is under investigation," Western Cape police spokeswoman Noloyiso Rwexana said in a statement.

No further details were given.

Police were urging members of the public to come forward with information that could lead police to the gunmen.
