Seven killed after overloaded taxi loses control

Seven people were killed when an overloaded minibus taxi crashed near Machadodorp in Mpumalanga on Monday morning.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeff Wicks says the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a bend.
The minibus overturned and rolled several times.

Seven people died at the scene and and 17 were seriously injured.
