Civil society lobby group Section 27 says its preparing to take the Department of Basic Education back to court this week over the Limpopo textbook scandal.
Section 27 is unhappy with the department's catchup plan for grade ten learners who went through half of the school year without textbooks.
The organisation took the department to court in April to try and speed up the delivery of books in the province.
The North Gauteng High Court granted the group an interdict and imposed a deadline for books to be delivered.
The organisation's director Mark Heywood says the department has failed to come up with a sufficient catchup plan for affected students, even though it was previously approved by Parliament.
He says papers, which will be filed in the North Gauteng High Court, are being finalised.
