At least two government departments have fallen victim to a fraud scam.
The latest to warn the public about the misuse of its logo, is the Department of Human Settlements.
Their warning issued on Wednesday came several days after the Department of Science and Technology warned the public to be aware of scamsters soliciting business by illegally using a version of the Department's logo.
Spokesperson for the Department of Human Settlements, Ndivuwo Mabaya, says they've been inundated with inquiries from service providers since last year.
He says to date they are dealing with at least 20 cases where their service providers had been defrauded by scamsters using the Department's logo.
