Free State police said that a second victim of Sunday's farm shooting has died.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Mahlomola Kareli, said a 19-year-old woman died while in the hospital on Monday night after sustaining gunshot wounds.
A 10-year-old boy died on Sunday night when two gunmen arrived at Ionia Farm and opened fire on workers in two houses on the property.
They fled on foot and an extensive search is underway for them.
Kareli says five others, including a 12-year-old girl, remain in hospital after being wounded in the incident.
The motive for the attack is still unknown.
