Less than 24 hours after a Port Elizabeth pilot was killed in a plane crash, another pilot was killed in Gauteng on Thursday morning.
Netcare 911 says the 64-year-old pilot was killed while another person sustained minor injuries in the air-crash close to the Kitty Hawk Aerodrome east of Pretoria.

"When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found the Provincial EMS already initiating CPR, we also joined in, this continued for about 45 minutes, but sadly there was nothing more we could do for the man. The man was declared dead on scene."
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the cause of yesterday's crash near Herbertsdale in the Western Cape which killed well-known PE pilot, Keith Patterson.
His light aircraft crashed on a game reserve in the Herbersdale area near Mossel Bay on Wednesday.
