Sanparks issues warning to visitors

SA National Parks has issued a warning to visitors ahead of the eighth annual SA National Parks Week, which runs from the 9th to the 13th of September.

Sanpark says there's a disturbing trend of people getting out of their vehicles in local parks to take photographs of the wildlife.

It says visitors to Parks in the Eastern Cape should not get out of their vehicles except in designated areas.

Sanparks says since its inception in 2006, National Parks Week has seen an influx of over 90 000 day visitors in all participating parks.
