The country’s newest trade union federation will be leading a campaign against corruption and “looting of state resources”.
Members of the South African Federation of Trade Unions said it would be setting up camp in Church Square in Pretoria on Monday in protest against last week’s cabinet reshuffle.
Saftu steering committee convener, Zwelinzima Vavi, said they’re appealing to all workers and “those appalled by the country’s descent into kleptocracy to join the ongoing protest.
Vavi said this protest would continue “until the demand for the resignation of the President and the whole cabinet has been met.
