Thousands of members of the SA Democratic Teachers Union, Sadtu, will take to the streets on Wednesday.
They will be marching to parliament and the union buildings.
The union wants to keep up the pressure on Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga, and her director general, Bobby Soobrayan, to step down.
The union accuses the pair of reneging on collective bargaining agreements.
Speaking in parliament on Tuesday, Motshekga, said Sadtu's actions undermine the importance service of teaching.
"It betrays the trust and hopes of South Africans for development and a successful fight against poverty and unemployment. Disruptive activities by Sadtu unfortunately affects those who least can afford it. I will be meeting MEC's on Thursday to assess to situation and agree on steps to be taken, because this ongoing activities are a real sabotage to our children's future" she said.
