DA Leader Helen Zille and DA Gauteng Premier Candidate, Mmusi Maimane, will lead the Ayisafani protest March and Rally in Jabulani, Soweto on Saturday.
The party says in a statement it had received notice from the SABC that it removed the DA’s ‘Ayisafani’ television commercial from the airwaves.
Maimane says this is censorship.
He says the reasons advanced by the SABC are spurious, and almost certainly illegal.
Maimane says this is a clear attempt by the SABC to protect Pres. Jacob Zuma from any public accountability for the Nkandla scandal.
